Forbidden Cinema 111 - Caddyshack Going Deeper

Welcome back!  The forbidden crew look into the questions that were best left unanswered from our coverage of Caddyshack.  We are back in 1980, people.  We find newspapers from the week this film came out (the week Zack was born) and see what is going on in the world... spoiler alert... the world sucks in 1980.

We pause and take a look at the career of Harold Ramis, a man with 4 films on AFI's top 100 funnies.  We also spend a little time looking at Brian Doyle, a strong contender for our 2nd favorite Murray brother.

We hit it all.  Who is Sarah Holcomb and where did she go?  Was our hometown pizza place with local or a chain?  What is the deal with Fresca?  How was this, Blues Brothers, and Airplane in the theater at the same time?

We take a brief Forbidden Cinema True Crime Corner interlude to look at the case of Helen Mintiks, the young violin prodigy at the MET who disappeared in the middle of a show.

Zack also makes Jenny guess which type of ad was most heavily featured in Playboy magazine this month.  Will it be tobacco, alcohol, or gadgets?  Also Dudley Moore is featured in one of the photoshoots this month???
